Ballynatray Estate has a dining tradition of delivering honest to goodness food experiences with the emphasis on the finest of fresh ingredients, cooked in season.  Our well stocked cellar will delight even the most discerning guest with rare and unusual wines to suit all tastes and budgets. Many of the wines come from the vineyards established by exiled Irish vintners – e.g. ‘Wild Geese’.

Our in-house chef provides bespoke menus which reflect the season and client preferences. The Ballynatray breakfast is extensive and legendary and there are a wide range of menus available on request – lunch, dinner, banquet, shooting snacks, canapés, barbeque etc.
Food is sourced and provided where possible from the estate and it’s walled gardens – e.g. Pheasant, Duck, Lamb, Beef, Salmon, Vegetables, Fruits etc.

The intimate olde world elegance of the gracefully appointed dining rooms cater from 8 to 80 people. The antiques and classical furniture add splendour and elegance to create a unique atmosphere of luxury, comfort and style. On a summer’s day one can relax on the terrace with a glass of fine wine, and enjoy the picturesque views of the rolling estate countryside.

When having an event at Ballynatray we invite you to come and taste your selected menu and wines with our compliments. Some of the self-catering cottages have fully equipped kitchens to please amateur and professional chefs alike!
