
Snooker Room‘Snooker’ is a cue sport which emerged in its modern form in the late 19th century with roots going back to the 16th century of English billiards. The name ‘snooker’ was given to the game by Colonel, Sir Neville Chamberlain, in 1875 while serving in the Army. He met with John Roberts who later introduced the game to England.
