Onsite activities at Ballynatray include simulated clay shooting, tennis, croquet, Indoor heated pool, sauna, jacuzzi, massage room, snooker room and fitness room (only available when the house or House and cottages are booked exclusively).
From Ballynatray you are also just a short drive from the beautiful East Cork coastline, where you can enjoy all the arts, cultural, heritage, sporting and family activities it has to offer on your door step.

Simulated Game Shooting Academy

A simulated game shoot day is the nearest one gets to a traditional driven shoot , out of season, substituting game birds for clay pigeons. These shoots offer the same excitement, fun and spectacle of driven shoots at a fraction of the cost.

Driven Game Shooting

The Ballynatray Estate Shoot has quickly become a favoured venue for sportsmen who wish to shoot quality driven game in Ireland. There is a range of days available from 100 to 300 birds and all the drives will test even the most accomplished of guns, with some producing a cartridge to bird ratio of 10:1

Tennis and Croquet are currently not available.

Archery

For those not interested in shooting, archery can be organised by prior arrangement. You will be taught how to hold, load and shoot, as well as full safety instructions. We will also look at the different ways and styles of aiming a bow. This is a great activity to get everyone involved from the young to the old and is ideal for large or small groups.

Indoor Pool

Unwind, restore and invigorate the body and mind in our indoor heated pool and jacuzzi, overlooking the picturesque kitchen garden. Our fitness room is equipped with all the exercise machines you need to help you feel fit and revitalised. Relax in our tranquil, contemporary massage room and ease away the cares of the world.

Snooker

Descend to the cellar and enjoy a relaxing game in the comfortable and fully fitted out snooker room after your busy day at Ballynatray Estate.

Fishing

Explore 3 miles of frontage on the Blackwater river which is famous for its trout and salmon fishing. It is perfect for all types of fishing - fly spinning etc.

Nature Walks

If you are an enthusiast of nature and wildlife, Ballynatray offers a diverse array of Irish wildlife and migratory visitors. Grey seals are regular visitors to the Glendine tributary with the spring and early summer being the best time to observe these animals at play and whilst feeding.
